This One's for CJ...

There's another new blog after this one, if you want to look at it. You will likely like it.

But, until then, this blog is especially for CJ, but also for the general attempts and enjoyment of anyone who wants! It's a twin identifying game!! Here's some guidelines:

1) Dont' depend on clothes or parts. They share clothes and sometimes change hair parts.
2) If you want to be a true teller-apart-er, don't look at past blogs
3) And if you want to be a true true teller-apart-er, don't even look at other pictures in this blog to figure out later pictures. But that's not a rule. Just if you want to be really good.
4) Don't forget about the precious goodness of Elise!!! I've put a couple pictures of her to cleanse your pallet and maybe not have constant repitition to give it away.
5)Some are pretty hard. But you will do great! And you can just number the answers in the comments. The numbers are at the bottom of the picture they match.
I feel like it will get easier as you go through the pictures. Good luck!

This is my ULTIMATE FAVORITE TWIN PICTURE!!!!!

This One's for Mom...

If only the fairy still lived with me. I am still under the Roy Family curse. While rummaging through my cupboard/fridge the other day, this is what I found.

Note the diddle of beans in the bowl and the THREE bags of just one piece of bread!!! What kind of lifestyle have we built for ourselves!? No wonder Mom always got frustrated! Notice also the smudge of jelly and leftover bread crumbs and two knives on the counter. This is the countertop where I make my lunch every morning, so naturally there's a mess just waiting for the fairy to come pick it up!

To add to the Royness of it all, I will also admit that when searching again through my cupboard this morning haha I found those same three bags which I of course just threw right back in the cupboard becuase heaven forbid I actually get rid of them upon their discovery. And there were two additional ones. All five will probably continue to multiply and replenish my cupboard for the rest of the semester.

This part is actually for CJ, who came and bombarded my apartment the other day! I was gone, sadly, but we laughed our heads off after wards about the state of my room. So she told me to take a picture and post it!
Haha, gotcha!! It looked anything but like this, with no mattress, piles of clean clothes and mountains of dirty clothes, paper everywhere, blankets everywhere, and who knows what else. Definitely not toilet paper, as CJ discovered when she entered our equally disgraceful but genuinely college bathroom. (At least she didn't look in my cupboard!)

Don't worry. I really am faring quite nicely (and do fill the fairy role pretty ok) Just thought you would all appreciate that common (and very strange) bond!

Adventure Recap!

Hello all! Here is a mostly picture recap of some adventures! I have 12 ideas for good blogs I keep meaning to put up, but so far, no go, so have some summary. We had one Saturday a couple weeks back where we were utterly UNPRODUCTIVE and MISERABLE but it was SO FUN and we ended up laughing our heads off. We didn't leave the house once until 6, except for Rach, who left for 51 seconds to get the mail. (We know the time becuase we had to convince her to do it by saying we would time her. Thus you see, the level of our blahness)

The next weekend though, we did clean. This twin (for your sake, Seeg, I've left off the name) mopped. It was horrendous and hilarious. But we passed our cleaning check!
Elise is still the most precious of us all. Who has footies? Elise, that's who!
We also had a weekend awhile back where we went to the Stanford vball game, and we happened to be sitting next to Sarahho! So it was good times. Look at our eyes!! It was THE BEST volleyball game I have ever watched, hands down.
We had to walk home in the snow that night. Don't worry, neither Chels nor I had coats.
But it was fun to play in the snow aftewards! You can tell in this picture who's from Arizona (light jacket Nathan on the left), who's from a cold climate (prepared Lori and Hannah in the middle), and who's from Canada (weirdie T-shirt Carson on the right).
Afterwards followed a sleepover with the girls. Joy!
The next morning our local eccentric artist spent 6 hours carving this beaut. It stood probably 7 feet tall and 48 hours before it started leaning and melting then just crumbling. But man, did it attract the crowds until that point in time. It was fun to watch the master work right outside our window.
This last weekend we had a beach dance, which was hot and fun. And we had to most people from our ward come, so I am glad to be in a good, fun ward.
We even took Lizy, the twins' 13 year old sister! Their sisters and friend came up for the weekend. Sleepover followed.

This weekend was also the Utah game, people started camping out on Monday for the Saturday night game! Rockband, grill, the whole nine yards, it was crazy! This girl obviously did not sleep the whole week. She, beleive it or not, is acutally sleeping in this picture!
We waited in line for 4 hours and it was cold but fun!
The half time show!!! WOO!! Remember that video of jump roping hooligans Sis. Daley sent us!? Yeah, it was those kids in the flesh, and they were impressive!!

We won, sporting our nike sponsored pink cancer outfits, which grew on us after awhile. It was a very intense game, and we had blast! No snowy walk home, luckily, and I think it's actually getting warmer in Provo!

Life is good, we also went house hunting, which was an adventure. I signed up for spring classes and am turning in my sports camp counselor application. Lots of boys are getting their mission calls. I love, love, love my calling! I run, around and out of food, and Wyview is great! I'm exploring major options and now, I am needing to go study for a Book of Mormon quiz before my inner tube water polo intramural game! (blog to follow, you can be sure! You will laugh your heads off)
Sorry about the weird underlineness that may or may not show up. Blogger is not the most dependable system, but it gets the job done. All is bliss! Look for my new blogs coming up, I'm trying to make time for them because they should be pretty good. Thanks for looking!

Three Day Weekend!

Twas a good weekend! We went to the volleyball game vs. PU (I'd hate to have to cheer for that stinky team) and we dominated them. HOLY men's volleyball is sweet and good and those people are huge!

It was joyous to bond with my roommates and right at the moment when I was mentioning my idiosyncratic Book of Mormon to them, I looked down at the bleachers below, and who should be standing there, but Bro. Wilson himself!
It was one of the more ironic moments of the night, and we think that next to him was the wayward son he always mentioned in class. I only wish you all knew his strange idiosyncracies, he is the quirkiest old man ever, and he cheered just as strangely as he taught class!
After the twins went home to Layton for the weekend, we had days of fun, including a twister battle and a trip to the nickle arcade! It was so fun!! And it reminded me of a)Manitou Springs, so that was fond B) all the hours i wasted away in my childhood playing arcade games on our computer and C) our new year's trip to chuck e cheese! Elise and I were sad Rach and Chels were gone, but I won enough tickets to buy us all a pair of blowy lips. So we still bonded once they got home by making up a blowy lip language.

The four of us have decided to stick together next year, even though we were surprised Elise still wanted our loudness around. We are more than joyous to have her though!

That's all. Just thriving!

Whoa!

Right now I am sitting in the upper level of the Wilk, people watching between my classes while I eat lunch. You can tell because I took a picture of it and now it is on my blog. That's pretty crazy! I just took a picture, imported it to my computer, connected to the internet, opened up my own personal blog, uploaded the picture on it, and now you are looking at what I am looking at in this same instant! I took the picture at 1227 and now it's 1230 and the whole process is done. Whoa! Now that is crazy! Technology is cool!

I just finished reading and discussing King Lear in my english class, which is a great class. I have never been scared in an english class before, but now I am with old, married people who are smart, but it's going great and I really liked King Lear.

Hm.... 30 seconds later and you also got an update of the last hour of my life. Weird!

Just thought you might appreciate an update, and since it only took me five minutes, there you go!

Back Again!

Roommates have never been dearer, classes have never been more enlightening, food has never been scarcer, BYU has never been more endearing, winter has never been colder, and life has never been better!

I really like all my new classes, and I already feel like I have a better feel for college things than I did before and I can't wait to learn more! Someone actually asked me for directions on campus today! (I had no idea where he was talking about, but I pointed in a direction and pretended!!!) (Just kidding, I kind of knew, but you know how I am with directions!)

My new calling is Relief Society Greeter! I am so excited!

We got 25 new boys in the ward and 4 new girls! Most of the boys are weird RMs, but they do give quite better sacrament talks than everyone else, so that's good.

I have quite nothing interesting to say, but I did my poem for ward prayer. And my roommates and I literally spent more than 42 straight hours in each other's presence!!! We didn't even leave our apartment for a whole miserably glorious day of unproductivity! It was so fun and terrible!

And we went to a dance. And I don't really have any pictures to put up....Sorry, Bum.
Dinner at the end of the unproductive day. We finally got enough gumption to go to the temple (even though I shniked in with Charina's reccomend hahaha but hey! I guess if she's worthy enough to be married I can tell a little lie to get into the temple on her reccomend!) (That's a joke. It was all clear and worthy even though, yes, my actual reccomend is in Virginia) Anyway, we look a LOT better there than we did all day. I didn't even want to post our day pictures becuase they were so rough.
This dance was a rockstar dance but I was at campus watching a movie for a class, so I had no goodness, which made me sad. Alas, it was incredibly fun anyway!

Semester Over!

(I don't feel like I can blog about the wedding, seeing as all of you were there and have already created your blogs about it! But I would say it was glorious and triumphant and wonderful!)
All last week during finals, I kept having memories of Charina's blog she did two years ago about finals week. So I looked it up and laughed so hard becuase nearly everything she said was something I had likewise experienced! So I thought I'd copy it in here (Thanks, Char) to attest to the craziness of finals I never knew could exist. And as a bonus, there's a few extra of my own at the end I'm sure she and everyone else has experienced.

Free Jamba Juice 9-11, Sleeping in a few more minutes than normal, having something in common with everyone, conversations with random girls while standing in line to meet our doom, late night studying with my roommates, Toffee Ice cream bars, using finals as an excuse of why I haven't worked out, RA's begging for help on Stats, checking out guys in the library, Christmas trees in Brigham Square, watching people use their brains, drooling and/or snoring people in the library, white boards in the Wyview MPB, using a flashlight to study, Christmas music as background music for studying, getting a seat on the bus, snowball fights in the house, an excuse to not clean, mechanical pencils, the Dark Knight movie trailer as a break from studying, sisters lending her baking plate as a white board, eating dinner with Co-workers in the cougareat, new study spots because your old ones are taken, seeing old friends in the testing center, coughing while testing just to break the silence, looking back on how fast time goes, taking my BYU water bottle everywhere, calculating and predicting grades, ginormous snowmen on campus, craving cinnamon bears (not to be confused with teddy grams, these are the little gummy red guys), waking up early to read a textbook curled up on the couch, eating cereal for dinner, watching math professors grade like crazy, eating as much of your food as possible so it won't go bad over break, hoping for snow...just for the heck of it, wearing fake glasses to feel smarter, free hot chocolate, sweats, makeup free, 12 AM showers, seeing people pray in line...or during the test, personal e-mails with TA's, glaring at your professor (sometimes it just feels better), light weight backpacks, vending machine cheddar chex mix, day dreaming, resolutions, excitement TO GO HOME!!!!!!

Also, running out of toilet paper but just mooching off your neighbors becuase you don't have time/don't want to go to the store, walking home in the snow from the library at 2 AM, not taking any showers, sleeping in the living room all week, bonding with the missionaries about to leave, anticipating the new people about to move in, getting in trouble for caroling becuase of the 24 hour queit zone rule no one knew existed, reading the entire physical science barf text book, only getting 10 dollars for text book sellback, but at least getting a frozen baby ruth from the text book people, trying to keep track of 5 huge stacks of notes from the entire semester, barfing out 2 papers in 3 hours, getting permission to break into the TA office to turn in papers, cramming in 3 different review sessions in one day, submitting to studying in the armchairs becuase there are no tables open, also submitting to sitting next to someone when there is a table open, wearing the same shirt 2 days in a row and the same pants all week, sweating in the JSB as you climb over testing souls becuase of course people only sit on the edges, actually getting lunch from the cougareat becuase you didn't have time or supplies to make lunch, getting only 3 hours of sleep before getting up for packing, miserably failing the cleaning check you tried to finish at 2 in the morning, but leaving all the leftover chores to your stalwart roommate, excitement for the WEDDING!
