Arizona & Beyond

Winter has been not so much of a winter until now so Billy has been able to work a lot. Still, we've had our fun!

When I harvested everything else from my garden I left my carrots in the ground and kept using them bit by bit but when it snowed the first time I thought they were probably gone. Well, a few weeks ago I dug them up and they were still great and yummy!

We journeyed to AZ and spent a few days with Grandma and Grandpa!! It was the very best and they were the most wonderful hosts (as always) and we were spoiled silly (as always).

Before we got to their house we went and spent a few hours with Jordan and her husband Ryan. It was so great! But of course we took no pictures. We were just probably crazy to them with babies crawling all over us but it was so great to see her and her good life.

Anyway.

We just chilled and ate and it was so fun. The boys were good and it was so great to spend time with those wonderful people. It was probably the first visit I took with my little family without M&D and I think that added a new perspective I'd never seen before, so that was cool.

Afterwards we spent the day in Sedona doing a cool hike to a natural bridge.

That night we camped in Snow Canyon, which was so fun and so pretty.

And coooold in the morning!

We did the hike to the lava tubes, which Truman loved.

And now we are just doing our normal thing. Billy got new stickers for his truck.

Truman is still the biggest book worm ever.

Hunting is the oft discussed topic 'round any table

And Burton is still the cutest little guy

Especially when he's hanging out with this funny kid

All's well!
