One huge job that Billy did this summer was grassless. The homeowner wanted a yard without grass, because grass is just there to get mowed and she wanted something her kids could really have fun playing in. She wanted the mountains in her yard. So Billy made a sweet river and tons of plants and trees that in a few years will be basically like Rocky Canyon. He made a ton of cool little paths that the kids can run around in and already it's a hit with the entire neighborhood clan.
It started out just like most jobs start out, in a disaster of dirt and rocks and intimidating expectations,progressed as most jobs do in a whirlwind of late nights and stressful scheduling and mistakes that seems a lot bigger in the moment than they actually are, but ended as all jobs do, in a beautiful miracle of amazing creation and art. Billy is good at what he does.
We are excited to see the plants grow in! It's a sweet yard.
