DJ Billy, who knew?

Turns out Billy was a DJ on a real radio station! And we went to the 40th Anniversary part of it. 

It really is a real station but also it is just their high school radio station so probably only people in Pleasant Grove listen to it. But Billy was a DJ on there and would, you know, like talk to people when they called in with requests and do a little chitter chatter in between songs and talk about important stuff going on in the world/town/high school. So it was pretty legit! 

Anyway, we went to the reunion and there were people there all the way from the 70's when it started to now when they are still in high school and, most importantly for our sake, some of Billy's old friends that he actually DJed with. It was cool to be part of a blast from Billy's past. He said he hasn't been back to his high school since he graduated and it occurred to me that I probably haven't either.

Oh yeah! And remember the ugly shirt Billy always wears? His radio teacher is the one who drew it so of course Billy wore it and everyone was excited about it. His teacher actually is a legit artist, as you can see in the backdrop--he did all those. 

It was cool and fun! Good job, DJ Billy!
