Yes, this one is a material possession. But I truly LOVE it.
In August, Billy took me to this bargain/clearance event at this snowboard shop and there were a billion things there for supposedly cheap prices and we looked at all of them and found nothing of worth
EXCEPT
this one coat which was so cool and i liked it so much but I just could not bring myself to spend money on it at that moment, even though it was considerably discounted. Billy promised we could find it cheaper online and so we left without that coat.
We never found it cheaper and winter came in the fullest force I've ever known, so we found a sweet red coat for some price on the internet and it was fine
EXCEPT
when i put extra layers underneath it for warmth, it was just a wee bit too small. We returned it and I was once again, without a coat in the bitter weather.
One day I came home to a package, and though I realized instantly what it must be, I had no expectation that it was actually the dream coat from August that we couldn't find anywhere online! So when I realized that it was, I was horrifed that we must have spent a billion dollars on it! But after my initial shock, Billy assured me that he had found it considerably discounted and that he googled a sweet discount code for it.
And I LOVE this coat!

Sweet pink zipper and AWESOME magnets--the magnets are definitely one of the best features, there's even one on the hood and the back of my coat to keep the hood contained when I'm not using it
Trendy inside, snow skirt, armpit ventilation, lots of secret pockets
Ginormous hood and poofy enough that you don't have to wear extra layers underneath like my last coat (I had no idea I look like such a hooligan walking around campus until I saw this picture haha)
and extendeed sleeves with thumb holes so you can wear gloves without getting snow or bitter Utah winds on your arms!
More than just a love, but an abiding gratitude to this coat for saving my life this cold, cold winter and many winters to come!
